The bill has been amended to designate September 2005 as Obesity Awareness Month instead of May 2005. This change is important because it shifts the awareness campaign to a different time of year, possibly to coincide with the return of children to school when health education can be emphasized. The adjustment aims to enhance public engagement and awareness surrounding obesity issues at a more impactful time.
