Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill SB 612 has added specific requirements for notifying local authorities about applications for a motor carrier license when an airport is involved. It now mandates that the municipality or political subdivision managing the airport must be informed and has the right to participate in hearings regarding the licensing process. This change is crucial because it ensures that local governments have a say in decisions that could affect transportation services to and from their airports, promoting better oversight and community involvement.
