Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill SB 1212 primarily updates existing legislation regarding the use of certain state-owned lands in Kane County. Specifically, it clarifies that the land must be used for public educational and recreational purposes while allowing for potential sale to public junior colleges in the area under specific conditions. This change is important because it ensures the land remains dedicated to community use, while also giving educational institutions access to needed resources.
