Plain-language change summary

The updated version of SB 2569 specifically addresses "quitclaim deeds," making it clear that notifications sent to previous property owners apply only to this type of deed. This change helps ensure that property owners are informed about changes related to their property, which is important for maintaining transparency and protecting their interests. The overall requirement for sending notifications remains the same, but now it is focused more precisely on quitclaim deeds, which can have unique implications for property ownership. This distinction matters because it clarifies the intent of the law and informs property owners when their rights may be affected.
