Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill SB 514 specifies that the Teachers Health Insurance Security Fund will not be subjected to certain administrative charges outlined in the State Finance Act. This change is important because it aims to protect funding for teachers' health insurance by ensuring that more money goes directly to health coverage rather than administrative costs. This could help provide better support for educators and their families.
