Plain-language change summary

The revised version of Bill SB 2159 clarifies how contract documents will be handled after a contract is awarded. The new language specifies that these documents will only be made available for public inspection and copying "subject to provisions of the Freedom of Information Act," which suggests that there may be certain exceptions or limitations. This change is important because it establishes a framework for transparency while also allowing for possible confidentiality concerns, balancing the need for public access with the protection of sensitive information.
