Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill HB 395 introduces a new option for taxpayers to contribute to the Blindness Prevention Fund directly on their income tax returns. Additionally, some references related to other funds have been removed to streamline the language and focus on this new contribution option. This change matters because it provides taxpayers with more opportunities to support causes they care about while filing their taxes, potentially increasing funding for blindness prevention initiatives.
