Plain-language change summary

The recent changes in SB 2242 involve increasing the income limits for seniors and disabled individuals seeking property tax relief and pharmaceutical assistance. The amendment not only raises these limits for the year 2006 but also ensures that they will automatically increase each future year, based on the Consumer Price Index. This is important because it helps keep pace with inflation, allowing more individuals to qualify for vital financial support.
