Plain-language change summary

The amended version of SB1622 focuses on changes to the documentation required during real estate transfers. Specifically, it now requires a declaration from both the seller and buyer that includes detailed information about the property, such as its value, legal description, and whether the transfer is between related individuals. This change aims to improve transparency in real estate transactions and help ensure that buyers are fully informed about the properties they are purchasing. Additionally, it removes provisions about sellers needing to disclose homestead exemptions, simplifying the original intent of the bill.
