Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Bill SB 830 expanded the governing body from 12 to 14 members, increasing the number of "public members" from 10 to 12. This adjustment means that more public representatives will have a voice in decision-making. Additionally, the requirement for a minimum of members needed to approve actions has decreased from 8 to 6. These changes may streamline the decision-making process, potentially making it easier for the Authority to operate efficiently.
