Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill HB 930 removes specific restrictions on how home rule units can regulate plumbing permit applications in larger counties. By eliminating these limitations, the bill grants more flexibility to local governments in setting their own regulations. This is significant as it allows local authorities to adapt their processes according to their community's needs, which could lead to more efficient plumbing permit approvals and inspections.
