Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Bill SB 626 involve updates to the State Parks Designation Act, specifically by adding a list of designated state parks in Illinois. This amendment formally recognizes these parks, which can promote tourism and conservation efforts. Additionally, it includes a technical adjustment to the State Comptroller Act, removing outdated language to streamline the process for transferring state funds. These changes are important as they ensure better management of state resources and enhance the visibility of Illinois's natural parks.
