Plain-language change summary

The updated version of HB 3142 adds more specific requirements for State agencies to report details about their public fund investments on the Internet, including the amount of funds, monthly investment income, asset allocation, and a list of approved financial institutions. This change aims to improve transparency by providing citizens with clearer and more comprehensive information on how public funds are being managed. The previous version had broader language that allowed for less detail in reporting, making it harder for the public to understand the status of their funds.
