Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill HB 3620 clarifies that if a witness chooses not to testify due to concerns about being recorded during their testimony, the authority in charge must stop any recording during that time. This change ensures that witnesses feel more comfortable sharing their information, which can lead to more open discussions and better transparency in meetings that are required to be public. Ultimately, it aims to protect witness rights while still promoting accountability in public hearings.
