Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to SB 413 allows businesses with liquor licenses to conduct sting operations aimed at enforcing age restrictions on alcohol sales. Under the new rules, these operations can happen as long as the business provides written notice to local law enforcement at least 14 days in advance. This change is important because it aims to improve compliance with underage drinking laws while ensuring that businesses are aware of and prepared for these enforcement actions.
