Plain-language change summary

The latest amendment to Bill HB 3501 removed several lines from the previous version, particularly the details within Section 222 concerning the notice of orders of protection. This change simplifies the process, indicating that the clerk of the court should promptly enter and file orders while still ensuring that both the respondent and petitioner are informed. This matters because it streamlines the communication process, potentially improving safety and efficiency for those involved in protection order cases.
