What changed in the latest version
297 added · 293 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of Bill SB 1049 now clarifies the definition of “aggregate extension” for certain taxing districts that were not covered by this law before 1995. Specifically, it removes references to any taxing districts that might be subject to different rules under Section 18-213. This change is important because it aims to establish a clear and consistent framework for how tax extensions will be calculated for these districts, potentially affecting how much funding they can raise through taxes.
