Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill SB 1108 include new requirements for property owners regarding unauthorized vehicle towing. Now, property owners must post a clearly visible sign detailing towing policies, including the potential towing fees, before they can hire a towing company to remove vehicles. This change aims to improve transparency and inform vehicle owners about the consequences of parking on private property, which could help reduce disputes and confusion regarding towing practices.
