Plain-language change summary

The bill has been updated to redefine "child" as a person under the age of 16 instead of under 18, which narrows the age range it applies to. Additionally, the definition of "personal information" now specifies that it excludes any information not directly concerning a child, offering clearer protections related to children's privacy. These changes are important as they aim to enhance the protection of younger individuals’ personal data, ensuring that their sensitive information is handled carefully.
