Plain-language change summary

The latest version of SB 154 has changed some wording related to how a county can approve a public safety tax. The proposed amendment clarifies that the county clerk will certify the question for voters, but it also removes the exact requirement for how the voting results are to be recorded. These changes matter because they streamline the process and make it easier for election authorities to handle tax proposals while ensuring voters still have clear options to express their opinions.
