The amendments to Bill HB 2905 clarify provisions regarding active-duty military personnel and their property taxes. The key change is that service members called to active duty will not be considered delinquent on their property tax payments while they are deployed, and no penalties will accrue until a set period after their return. This matters because it provides important financial relief for service members during their deployment, ensuring they do not face additional financial burdens while serving their country.
