Plain-language change summary

The amendments to SB 466 clarify definitions related to property tax assessments and eligibility criteria for tax relief. Specifically, the term "income" is now explicitly defined to exclude veterans' benefits, ensuring that veterans are not penalized when calculating household income for tax relief purposes. This change matters because it aims to provide greater financial support to veterans by improving their eligibility for tax assistance programs.
