Plain-language change summary

The bill now emphasizes the importance of purchasing domestically produced goods by renaming it the "Procurement of Domestic Products Act." It also clarifies that any state agency must prioritize items manufactured in the U.S. unless they are unavailable in sufficient quantities. This change is significant because it aims to support local economies and encourage domestic manufacturing by ensuring state purchases favor U.S.-made products.
