The new version of Bill HB 3773 has updated funding allocations, which include increased amounts for personal services, retirement contributions, and social security benefits. For instance, personal services funding was raised to about $42.5 million, reflecting a significant increase from previous amounts. This adjustment is important because it indicates a commitment to providing better support for employees, including enhancements to their benefits and retirement plans, which can help with retention and overall workforce morale. Additionally, the total budget for the bill has been adjusted, lowering it from roughly $112 million to about $109.8 million, potentially indicating a more focused use of resources.
