Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill SB 2944 now clarifies several conditions that define what constitutes a potluck event, such as the need for attendees to understand that the food hasn't been inspected by health authorities and that the event cannot be held on public property. Additionally, the bill removes restrictions on businesses sponsoring a potluck, but still prohibits food from being brought into their kitchen. These changes are significant as they aim to make potluck events more accessible while ensuring safety and public health standards.
