requiring that such rules include priority review of applications, expedited home studies and background checks, and recognition of prior foster parent training coursework;

A copy of the license shall be displayed in a conspicuous place.
Except as provided in paragraph (k), the license is valid for 1 year from the date of Page 1 of 2 CODING:
Florida Senate - 2025 CS for CS for SB 1174 603-03447-25 20251174c2 shall be displayed in a conspicuous place.
Florida Senate - 2025 CS for SB 1174 586-02323-25 20251174c1 issuance, unless the license is suspended or revoked by the department or is voluntarily surrendered by the licensee.
Except as provided in paragraph (k), the license is valid for 1 year from the date of issuance, unless the license is suspended or revoked by the department or is voluntarily surrendered by the licensee.
The department shall adopt rules to streamline the licensure application process for a licensed foster parent who is in good standing and relocates within this state.
The department shall adopt rules to ensure that a licensee who moves to another location within this state may amend his or her current license without the need to submit a new application for licensure and that the amended license process receives priority.
These rules must include, but are not limited to, rules concerning priority review of applications, expedited home studies and background checks, and recognition of prior foster parent training coursework.
