requiring the registration of an agent of a foreign country of concern be signed under oath;
(b) "Agent of a foreign principal"country of concern" means a person:Page 1 of 6 CODING:

Who acts as an agent, an employee, a representative, or a servant, or who otherwise acts at the order, at the request, or under the direction or control, of a foreign principal;

Whose1. actions are financed, in whole or in part, by a foreign principal;
Who acts as an agent, an employee, a representative, or a servant, or who otherwise acts at the order, at the request, or under the direction or control, of a foreign country of concern;
2.
Whose actions are financed, in whole or in part, by a foreign country of concern;
(c) "Foreign principal"country means:of concern" means the People's Republic of China, the Russian Federation, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Republic of Cuba, the Venezuelan regime of Nicolás Maduro, the State of Qatar, or the Syrian Arab Republic, including any agency of or any other entity under significant control of such foreign country of concern.
(d) "Foreign-supported political organization" means a political party or a domestic partnership, an association, a corporation, an organization, or any other business entity that engages in political activity within the state and that:
TheHas governmentits principal place of business in a foreign country;country of concern;
or 2.
AIs politicalat partyleast or20 memberpercent beneficially owned by a foreign country of concern, a politicalnonresident partyalien from a foreign country of concern, or an entity organized under the laws of or having its principal place of business in a foreign country;country of concern.

A person who is not a citizen or national of the United States and is not lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residency;
4.
A partnership, an association, a corporation, an organization, or any other combination of persons organized under the laws of or having its principal place of business in a foreign country;
or 5.
A domestic partnership, an association, a corporation, an organization, or any other combination of persons which is at least 20 percent beneficially owned by a foreign government, a nonresident alien of a foreign country, or an entity organized under the laws of or having its principal place of business in a foreign country.
If the foreign country that causes a person to be a foreign principal is the People's Republic of China, the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of North Korea, or the Islamic Republic of Iran, the foreign principal is also a hostile Page 2 of 7 CODING:

(d) "Foreign-supported political organization" means a political party or a domestic partnership, an association, a corporation, an organization, or any other business entity that has, within the past 5 calendar years, received money or other things of value from a foreign principal or an agent of a foreign principal and which engages in political activity.
(e) "Payment" includes compensation and disbursement made in any form, including, but not limited to, contributions, income, money, tangible property, and intangible property.
Influence an agency, a public official, or a local governmentgovernmental entity;
(2)(a) A person who becomes an agent of a foreign principalcountry of concern must, within 10 days,days after becoming such an agent, register with the division.
Such form mustmust, require, at a minimum, require the following information:

A detailed statement of every activity the registrant, or a person on behalf of the registrant, is performing, has performed, or has agreed to perform on behalf of a foreign principal identified in subparagraph 5.

If the registrant is also engaged in political activity on behalf of a person who is not a foreign principal but who is an agent of a foreign principal, the registrant must include the following information:

(d) A person must fileregister as an agent of a foreign principalcountry of concern for any period of time he or she was engaged in such position.

A detailed statement of any paymentspayment made by the organization that would constitute political activity during the previous calendar year.
A detailed statement of any paymentspayment made to, or received by, the organization from a foreign principalcountry of concern or an agent of a foreign principalcountry of concern during the preceding calendar year.

(4) Upon a finding of a violation of this section by the Florida Elections Commission, in addition to the remedies provided in ss.
106.265 and 106.27, the following penalties may be assessed:
(c) For any willful or repeated violation in which the foreign principal is a hostile foreign principal, up to $10,000 per violation and a temporary or permanent ban from future registration.
