This non-ad valorem maintenance tax shall be apportioned upon the basis of the net assessments of benefits assessed as accruing from the original construction and shall be evidenced to and certified by the board of supervisors of the district not later than June 1 of each year to the Osceola County and Orange County tax collectors collector and shall be extended on the tax rolls and collected by the tax collectors collector on the merged collection roll of the tax collector in the same manner and at the same time as county ad valorem taxes, and the proceeds therefrom shall be paid to the district.
