104.185(2), the sponsor of the initiative petition is liable for a fine in the amount of $5,000 for each such petition.
(10) A person collecting or handling a petition on behalf of the sponsor of an initiative amendment who copies a completed petition or retains a voter's personal information, including the voter's Florida driver license number, Florida identification card number, social security number, or signature, for any reason other than to provide such petition or information to the sponsor in compliance with this section commits a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s.
A fine in the amount of $50 for each day late, up to $2,500, for each petition form received by the supervisor in the county in which the voter resides of elections more than 10 30 days after the voter elector signed the petition form or the Pagenext 17business ofday, 45if CODING:the office is closed.

15.21, the secretary shall submit a copy of the initiative petition to the Financial Impact Estimating Conference.

hb1205hb1205-01-c1 -02-e1 F L O R I D A H O U S E O F R E P R E S E N T A T I V E S CS/HB 1,1205 Engrossed2025 175 2025days submitsafter anreceipt of a proposed revision or amendment to the State Constitution by initiative petition from the Secretary of State, the Financial Impact Estimating Conference shall complete an analysis and financial impact statement to be placed on the Attorneyballot Generalof pursuantthe estimated increase or decrease in any revenues or costs to s.state or local governments and the overall impact to the state budget resulting from the proposed initiative.
15.21, the secretary shall submit a copy of the initiative petition to the Financial Impact Estimating Conference.
Within 75 days after receipt of a proposed revision or amendment to the State Constitution by initiative petition from the Secretary of State, the Financial Impact Estimating Conference shall complete an analysis and financial impact statement to be placed on the ballot of the estimated increase or decrease in any revenues or costs to state or local governments and the overall impact to the state budget resulting from the proposed initiative.
The initiative petition may be resubmitted to the Financial Impact Estimating Conference if the initiative Pagepetition 29meets ofthe 45requisite CODING:criteria for a subsequent general election cycle.
A new Financial Impact Estimating Conference shall be established at such time as the initiative petition Page 29 of 45 CODING:

The Financial Impact Estimating Conference is established to review, analyze, and estimate the financial Pageimpact 30of amendments to or revisions of 45the CODING:State Constitution proposed by initiative.
The Financial Impact Estimating Conference shall consist of three four principals:

Any financial impact statement that the Supreme Court finds not to be in accordance with this subsection shall be remanded solely to the Financial Impact Estimating Conference for redrafting, provided the court's advisory opinion is rendered at least 75 days before the election at which the Pagequestion 32 of 45ratifying CODING:the amendment will be presented.
The Financial Impact Estimating Conference shall prepare and adopt a revised financial impact statement no later than 5 p.m.

The initiative financial information statement must include both a summary of not more than 500 words and additional detailed information that includes the assumptions that were made to develop the financial impacts, workpapers, and any other Pageinformation 33deemed ofrelevant 45by CODING:the Financial Impact Estimating Conference.

The Department of State shall have printed, and shall furnish to each supervisor of elections, a copy of the summary from the initiative financial information statements.
