Plain-language change summary

The revised version of SB 356 has updated the deadlines from April 24, 2022, to April 24, 2023, and changed the year from 2022 to 2023 for compliance with standards. This means that products now have an additional year to meet requirements set by the Department of Energy and to carry the WaterSense label, which helps consumers identify water-efficient products. This extension is significant as it gives manufacturers and retailers more time to comply with the new regulations, potentially benefiting both the businesses and consumers looking for environmentally friendly options.
