COHEN of the 12th Dist., Chairperson of the Committee on the part of the Senate, that the substitute bill ought to pass.
AN ACT CONCERNING THE FUNDING OF FISH HATCHERIES.
(Effective July 1, 2022) The sum of four million dollars is appropriated to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, for the purpose of funding fish hatcheries.
(Effective July 1, 2022) The sum of two million dollars is appropriated to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, for the purpose of funding fish hatcheries, provided one million dollarsofsuchamount shallbeutilizedby thedepartment to repopulate species such as Atlantic salmon and American eel to the state.
