  • 18 (a) Individuals who are currently certified or licensed shall present a current Kentucky certificate for the position; and (b) Individuals who have retired from service and no longer have a valid certification or license shall present a letter attesting to the individual's qualifications from the emergency medical services medical director, the mayor or trustee of a city, or the county judge/executive in appropriate rural areas.

  • 26 (3) The EMS special license plate shall be administered in the same manner as other special license plates under KRS 186.164, except that there shall be no required minimum number of applicants prior to the production of the EMS plate.
