Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill HB 9 removes the definition of "achievement academy" as synonymous with "public charter school." This change clarifies that the term "achievement academy" is no longer used in the context of this legislation, simplifying the language and focusing on the concept of public charter schools. This matters because it helps eliminate potential confusion and ensures that the bill centers on established definitions related to charter schools and their regulation.
