The updated version of Bill HB 1110 clarifies several important points. It specifies that licensed brokers or managing brokers who are not actively working are not required to maintain a surety bond, which could reduce their financial burden. Additionally, it ensures that past convictions that have been annulled will not affect a licensee's standing in disciplinary matters, and it confirms that anti-discrimination rules apply to rental activities as well as sales. These changes help create a clearer and fairer framework for real estate professionals and promote equitable treatment in both sales and rental markets.
