The amendment to Senate Bill 1099 introduces a new provision called the "Protection of Pupil and Parental Rights Act." It requires that all instructional materials related to surveys or evaluations be made available for parents or guardians to inspect. Additionally, it emphasizes that no student can be required to participate in these surveys without prior written consent from both the student and their parent or guardian.
