What changed in the latest version
2264 added · 2257 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of Bill SB 438 has made a minor but important change by removing a specific phrase at the end of a definition. The phrase regarding the Actuarial Standards of Practice No. 3 for Continuing Care Retirement Communities was the last line of the definition for "actuarial study." This change simplifies the text without altering its meaning, ensuring clarity and consistency in the definitions provided in the bill. It's important because clear language helps all stakeholders understand the requirements and standards expected in the ongoing care industry.
