None Explanation The bill requires that the information in each pesticide application notice filed with the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) be entered into a searchable spreadsheet available to the public.
The agency currently receives annual pesticide use reports from certified commercial and private applicators, and reports on annual sales of restricted use pesticides from restricted-use pesticide dealers.
As this information is currently being entered into a document searchable by the public, this has no fiscal impact.
It should be noted that the agency does not currently receive individual reports of each pesticide application.
