The updated version of Bill SB 604 specifies that quasi-public agencies must submit all employment contracts, consulting contracts, and separation agreements to the Attorney General for review before they are finalized or renewed. If any of these contracts exceed an annual cost of $100,000, they must also be submitted to a relevant legislative committee. This change strengthens oversight of quasi-public agency contracts, helping to promote transparency and accountability in the use of public funds.
