The amendments to Bill 26-0613 primarily involve simplifying the language to provide real property, deed recordation, and transfer tax exemptions specifically for properties owned by the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Washington and related parishes. This includes a specific identification of certain properties that qualify for these exemptions. This change matters because it clarifies which properties benefit from the tax exemptions, potentially reducing tax burdens for the Archdiocese and its parishes, which could impact local revenue.
