Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to the Arena Safety Conformity Temporary Amendment Act adds the Downtown Arena and the Southeast Arena to the list of places where unauthorized entry onto the playing surface is prohibited. This change ensures that, just like at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium and the National Guard Armory, people cannot enter the playing areas of these new venues without permission. This matters because it enhances security at these locations and helps to maintain a safe environment for players and spectators alike.
