Plain-language change summary

The changes to SB 264 include replacing the phrase "Ensure cooperation among the regional tourism districts" with "Encourage and facilitate cooperation among members of the state's tourism industry." Additionally, several sections of existing statutes related to tourism districts and funding have been repealed. This matters because it shifts the focus from regional tourism districts to a broader approach that encourages collaboration among all members of the tourism industry statewide.
