What changed in the latest version
7 added · 10 removedPlain-language change summary
The amendment changes the wording from "state agency" to "quasi-public agency" in Section 2(a). This means that the provision now specifically applies to quasi-public agencies and not state agencies, focusing on their ability to make payments to employees who resign or retire to avoid costs associated with potential litigation or nondisparagement agreements. The change clarifies which entities are subject to this restriction.
