Plain-language change summary

The updated bill specifies that applicants for election day registration who are in line by eight o'clock p.m. can still be admitted to vote, but they cannot be allowed to do so after nine o'clock p.m. Additionally, it clarifies that students can use a photo ID issued by their school for identification, instead of other forms required by law. This change impacts how election day registration is conducted and sets a clear timeline for when voting can occur for late registrants.
