What changed in the latest version
6 added · 14 removedPlain-language change summary
The amendment removes language that stated an employee's prior wage and salary history could not be used as a defense against claims under a specific subsection. It clarifies that inquiries about wage and salary history can only occur after a job offer has been accepted unless voluntarily disclosed by the prospective employee. This change may affect how employers approach hiring and the potential legal liabilities related to salary history disclosures.
