8 added · 11 removedPlain-language change summary
The amended bill establishes a working group to advise the Commissioner of Public Health on enhancing physician recruitment in the state. The changes added specific topics for examination, including barriers to physician participation in healthcare networks and the impact of the health insurance landscape on access to care, while removing references to defensive medicine and asset protection plans. Additionally, the terminology was standardized by changing "multisite medical group" to "multisite group practice." These changes clarify the focus of the working group and improve the consistency of terms used in the bill.
