Plain-language change summary

The amendment changes the effective date for certain provisions in the bill to July 1, 2018, ensuring consistency across sections. Additionally, the language regarding the fee schedule for meals on wheels has been clarified to reflect reasonable costs of providers and minimize participant copayments, instead of just stating an increase. This change aims to make the costs associated with meals on wheels align more closely with actual expenses, potentially impacting how rates are determined for those services.
