Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 151 clarifies that payments for Medicaid eligible services will be provided retroactively for up to three months before an eligible individual applies for assistance, rather than up to three months from the application date. This change affects the timing of Medicaid coverage for eligible individuals who apply for benefits, ensuring they can access services they may need sooner. Additionally, it outlines conditions related to asset transfers, which could affect eligibility for benefits.
