Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 415 changes the project grant amount for combined sewer projects. It establishes that these projects will receive a grant of fifty percent of the costs, with the possibility of increasing that grant to up to eighty percent if certain bond authorization conditions are met. This change means that municipalities may have increased funding available for combined sewer projects if bond authorizations are raised, while ensuring that no existing project grants for other municipalities are reduced or eliminated to accommodate the increase.
