The bill was amended to change the title from “AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXPEDITED REVIEW” to “AN ACT CONCERNING EXPEDITED APPROVAL” of affirmative action plans submitted by contractors. Additionally, the amendment clarifies that the executive director or their designee must formally approve, conditionally approve, or disapprove plans within a specified timeframe, and it adjusts the process regarding notifications to contractors about plan statuses. These changes could affect how quickly contractors can receive approvals for their affirmative action plans, impacting their eligibility to bid on contracts.
