What changed in the latest version
17 added · 12 removedPlain-language change summary
The bill has been amended to focus on establishing mobile manufacturing training labs and integrating manufacturing industry input into career technical education curriculum, rather than simply conducting a study on manufacturers' needs. This change will allow the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development to create public-private partnerships for hands-on training and education initiatives while also requiring input from the manufacturing community in curriculum development. These adjustments aim to enhance workforce readiness in manufacturing by providing relevant resources and standards for educational programs.
